I really don't care about this man's criminal background or current criminal activities. What I don't want to get lost and buried is the fact that police are killing people. That is not their role. If they kill one - we are all vulnerable. We need a full national movement to disarm the police. The only weapons they need is a something to allow them to take people into custody. After that....let the court system (which need a overhaul too) determine guilt or innocence. Killing by a public safety officer is not acceptable on any level.

I agree, from what I saw on video was them say get down and he did. He didn't "DESERVE" this. I hope the caller who made the call never forgets this, all there fault. We are allowed to go to whatever neighborhood we like. It used to be a free country.

I'm tied of seeing people murdered by the police..Why are they shooting people on a thought .Why are two, three or more police emptying their guns on individuals? They are more or less saying fuck you, we don't care about you! We are above the law and nothing is going to happen to us if we mow you down like an animal in the streets..

none of it makes sense, 7 seconds is all it takes to determine if someone is trying to do you harm. wow. 3 shots later he's dead. Something drastic needs to happen to the broken system, and stop using peoples past against them.

Murder. Watch the video. Cops suspect him of having a gun so they fast escalate things by screaming and waving guns at him. He gets down like they say, but then they shoot him. Now the press smears him not the cops. A criminal record does not give cops right to execute you in the street. There is an epidemic of police terror, we must stop it, get involved now, at: http://stopmassincarceration.net/
